Baked Camembert

A perfect recipe for the Christmas season—easy to make and ideal for a cozy, cold afternoon.

INGREDIENTS:
• 1 loaf of bread;
• 1 piece of camembert cheese (250g);
• 5 cloves of garlic;
• 4 tablespoons of olive oil;
• 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme (or dried);
• 3-4 teaspoons of honey.
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
1. I cut a hole in the bread so that the cheese could fit in. I placed it on a tray lined with baking paper.
2. I cut the bread along the edges and then put the cheese inside. I lightly scored the surface in a diamond-shaped pattern.
3. I mixed the crushed garlic, olive oil and thyme.
4. With the resulting composition, I greased the cheese and bread very well (including between the cuts).
5. I put the tray in the oven preheated to 200*C for ~20 minutes.
6. I removed the tray from the oven, let the bread cool down a bit, transferred it to a plate and sprinkled the honey on top.
