Chickpea meatballs with sauce

MEATBALLS INGREDIENTS:
• 250g boiled chickpeas;
• 90g onion;
• salt and pepper to taste;
• 10g olive oil;
• 30g crispy breadcrumbs;
• 3 garlic cloves.
SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
• 5g olive oil;
• 120g onion;
• 400g diced tomatoes;
• 150ml water;
• salt, pepper, basil to taste.

HOW TO PREPARE MEATBALLS:
1. I put all the ingredients (minus the breadcrumbs) in the chopper and mixed for about 1 minute.
2. I put the breadcrumbs on top of the obtained composition, mixed and formed the meatballs. I got 11 pieces.
3. I put them in the Air Fryer and turned it on for 10 minutes at 180*C.
4. When the time was up, I turned them on the other side and left them for another 10 minutes at 180*C.

METHOD OF PREPARATION SAUCE:
1. I chopped the onion and sauteed it for a few minutes in a spoonful of oil.
2. I added the diced tomatoes, water, spices, mixed well and left everything on low heat for about 10 minutes.
3. When the time was up, I blended everything using an upright blender, added the meatballs, mixed, and that was it.
4. We served with rice and parsley sprinkled on top.
