Chicken soup with sour cream

I made chicken soup and it was a real success! There was nothing left on the plates! 🤍

INGREDIENTS:
• 1 whole chicken (1.4kg);
• 1 large onion;
• 1 piece of celery;
• 1 bell pepper;
• 1 piece of parsnip;
• 4 carrots;
• 5 cloves of garlic;
• 300g sour cream;
• 3 egg yolks;
• 5.4L water;
• salt, pepper.
+ fresh parsley and vinegar for serving.
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
1. I cut the chicken into pieces and put it to boil with 4 L of water and two teaspoons of salt.
2. Before it started to boil, I skimmed the foam and added the cleaned and washed vegetables. I left everything on medium heat for 45-50 minutes.
3. I removed the meat and vegetables and strained the soup.
4. I put the soup back in the pot, added 1.4 L of water and left it on medium heat.
5. I removed the skin from the meat and separated it from the bones. I chopped the meat and vegetables (except the onion and pepper) into cubes.
6. I put the vegetables and meat in the pot, added the crushed garlic and let it boil for 5 minutes.
7. In a bowl I mixed the egg yolks and the sour cream. I slowly added 5 ladles of soup, stirring continuously. I transferred the resulting composition to the pot, stirring constantly. I seasoned with salt and pepper.
8. I left everything on low heat for another minute. Finally, I sprinkled fresh parsley.
I like to add a little vinegar when I eat it. 😻
