Chicken livers in red sauce

I made this recipe a while ago and kept saying I would make it again because we liked it so much. Well, today was the time. I took the knife from Samura (found in Altex) and got to work!

INGREDIENTS:
• 500g chicken liver;
•1 onion;
• 5 cloves of garlic;
• 5 tomatoes;
• 200ml water;
• 2 tablespoons oil;
• 1 bay leaf;
• salt, pepper, thyme to taste;
• fresh parsley.
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
1. In a tablespoon of oil, I sauteed the finely chopped onion and garlic for a few minutes.
2. I added the peeled and diced tomatoes, the water, the spices and the bay leaf. Everything boiled for 15 minutes on medium to low heat. I shredded the obtained composition with the help of a vertical blender.
3. I put the livers in boiling water and left them on the fire for 3-4 minutes.
4. In a pan with high walls, I put a spoonful of oil. When it was heated, I added the livers which I browned nicely on both sides.
5. I put the sauce obtained earlier on them and left the composition on the fire for about 6 minutes.
6. I sprinkled fresh parsley and ate them with mashed potatoes. 🤤
