Chicken breast with mushrooms in white sauce

INGREDIENTS(5-6 SERVINGS):
• 1kg chicken breast;
• 500ml chicken stock;
• 200ml cooking cream;
• 2 cubes of butter (~30g);
• 300g mushrooms;
• 3 tablespoons of oil;
• 5 cloves of garlic;
• salt, pepper to taste;
• 1 teaspoon herbs de Provence.
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
1. I sliced the chicken breast and seasoned it with salt, pepper and herbs de Provence. I mixed very well.
2. In a frying pan on medium heat, I put a cube of butter and two tablespoons of oil. Once heated, I added the chicken breast and browned it on both sides.
3. I removed the chicken breast on a plate. In the pan I put a cube of butter and a spoonful of oil. When they warmed up, I put the mushrooms cut into strips.
4. When they were browned, I crushed the garlic cloves over them, mixed and added the chicken stock.
5. Once the liquid reduced by half, I stirred in the cooking cream, seasoned with salt and pepper, then added the chicken along with its juices.
6. I left it on the fire for another 10 minutes.
We ate it with mashed potatoes and it was delicious! 🤤
