Oven-baked pork leg

Even though it takes longer to prepare this recipe, it's not complicated at all. It's one of the recipes I make when we have guests over. Everyone loves it!

INGREDIENTS:

• 2.5kg pork leg;
• 10 cloves of garlic;
• 2 teaspoons granulated garlic;
• 3 teaspoons sweet smoked paprika;
• 1 teaspoon granulated onion;
• 1 teaspoon pepper;
• 2 teaspoons salt;
• 3 tablespoons oil;
• 330ml beer.

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

1. I wiped the meat very well with kitchen towels. I made 10 deep cuts and inserted the garlic cloves inside them.
2. I seasoned the meat with the rest of the ingredients and massaged it very well.
3. I put the beer in the tray, covered the tray with baking paper and then with aluminum foil. I put the tray in the preheated oven at 170*C for 2 hours.
4. I took out the tray, turned the meat on the other side, covered it again and put the tray in the oven for another two hours.
5. I took out the tray, removed the baking sheet and aluminum foil, turned the meat and put it back in the oven for 30. After 30 minutes, I turned the meat on the other side again and left it for another 30 minutes.
6. I pulled the meat apart with two forks. At this point, it should be tender and easily fall apart into strips. I pulled it apart in the tray it was cooked in, mixing the pieces of meat with the juices in the pan.
7. We ate it with mashed potatoes and it was delicious!
