I don't cook in a bain-marie very often, but this recipe is definitely worth it! I found it in the book “Princess Margaret of Romania – Royal Cookbook” and it caught my eye. What do you think?

Pork chop with honey and garlic

INGREDIENTS (~10 servings, depending on how big the pieces are):

• 12 pieces of pork chop;
• 250g cream cheese;
• 200g grated cheese;
• salt;
• 5 eggs;
• 200-300g flour;
• 500g breadcrumbs;
• 5 eggs;
• 1L oil for frying.

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

1. I pounded the meat pieces thoroughly until I achieved thin slices.
2. I spread each piece of meat with cream cheese, sprinkled a little cheese, rolled them tightly and folded them like "sarmale".
3. I put each piece of meat in flour, egg, breadcrumbs, egg and again in breadcrumbs.
4. I put the oil in a pot with high walls, and when it was hot I added the schnitzels. I fried them for about 10 minutes and then took them out on kitchen towels.
5. I let them cool down a bit before cutting them. 😍
